(Image: Getty Images) [/center] HONG KONG — After an ugly two days on the streets of Hong Kong, calm came over the city again on Sunday. In a chilling scene, tens of thousands of pro-democracy protesters, who are demanding democratic elections for the city's chief executive in 2017, crowded into the commercial district of Admiralty in central Hong Kong for a rally organized by student leaders. Emotions ran high, as protesters used their phones to create an ocean of light as far as the eye could see, and joined together in song. Other students sat on the street, closed their eyes and prayed. Some shed tears, some cheered. It was a show of solidarity unlike any seen since the initial days of the protests, indicating that the Umbrella Revolution is still going strong.
