Is there still an open wound?

Why is there still this open wound
That disturbs my sleep?
When will I cease looking back,
And my sleep becomes less lonely?

Why does the hatred remain
That keeps the wound open?
When will I be able to forget
And enjoy my life once more?

Why does this hatred abound
Giving little account to human rights?
When will I be able to see
Happier days ahead for me?
